G&L L-2000 (1983-84)
EC-, gloss transparent red finish (belt buckle wear on back), offset double cutaway ash body (dated September 1983), bolt-on maple neck (dated February 1984), 21-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays, 1-5/8" nut width, 34" scale length, two humbucking pickups, G&L Tri-Tone active / passive electronics, volume, treble and bass controls, three mini toggle switches (pickup selector, series / parallel, and active / passive), chrome hardware, 11.1 lbs, with OHSC (SN:R013792) Well, Leo Fender really pulled the stops out on this one. It's really awsome db wise. Certainly not for the faint hearted or the home player. If you happen to be doing a gig at wembley stadium this year and you have a strong back, then this is the bass for you.
